Hello Schell parents and families! 

We are loving this cool weather and hope you are too. There is A LOT happening in October and I hope you will join in on the fun!

There is a lot happening at Schell! Read below for more information on the following:

• Raising Cane's Spirit Night
• Fall Family Picnic
• Fall Book Fair
• PTA Programs Survey

• Background Check (must be done to volunteer at Schell!)

Skip cooking and clean-up and join your fellow Coyotes at Raising Cane's for Dinner!

Pack a dinner and picnic blanket and join for an evening of fun and play at the park!

The Schell PTA is providing a 9 oz Kona Ice cup for all Schell Coyote students and staff during the fall picnic!

Families may purchase additional Kona cups for non-Schell students/staff at a price of $3.50 per 9 oz cup. 

All Kona Ice cups MUST be pre-ordered through the Schell PTA website. Orders cannot be placed at the time of the event. This is a Kona Ice policy, not the PTA. 

Those who pre-order will be provided tickets to be used at the time of the event. 

Deadline for Pre-Orders is October 18th by 9:00 pm. 

Readers get Ready!! The fall book fair is coming soon! 

Book Fair Dates: October 31st - November 4th

In order for the book fair to run efficiently, we need lots of volunteers! There are many opportunities to donate either a little or a lot of time. Every little bit helps! 

Days needed:

Wednesday, October 26th: Book fair set up

Thursday, October 27th: Preview day

Friday, October 28th: Preview day

Monday October 31st - Friday November 4th: Sale days

Sale Day schedule will be as follows: 

• 8 am - 9 am: 1st grade
• 9 am - 10 am: 2nd grade
• 10 am - 11 am: 4th grade
• 11 am - 12 pm: 3rd grade
• 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm: kindergarten
• 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm: 5th grade

The PTA helps to plan and implement after school programs for all Schell Coyotes. We would appreciate parent input regarding these programs for the 2022-2023 school year.

Have you been looking for volunteer opportunities at Schell but aren't sure where to start? 

The PTA has many committee and chair positions open for the 2022-2023 school year. We have opportunities for all skill sets and degrees of availability. Many positions can even be managed mostly from home!
